Xecuter Dvd Conection Kit, how it works – modeb 😉

1. Turn your PC off
2. Plug the drive in (power via xecuter kit and SATA into your SATA card or onboard port)
3. Make sure the debug button is down and eject button is up
4. Turn the PC on (should see red light on power adaptor)
5. Boot into Windows
Check Explorer to see if the drive has been assigned a letter. If not,
right click My Computer, click Manage, goto Disk Management under
Storage, right click the drive and assign it a letter e.g E:
7. Click Start, Run, type cmd and press enter. You should see a command prompt
8. Type the following (replacing e with your drive letter) and press enter:

memdump_win e 12200 8 8000 firmware.bin

9. After running the command in step 8 you should have a copy of your firmware!
10. Type the following (replacing e with your drive letter) and press enter:

memdump_win e 91004F0 1 10 key.bin

11. After running the command in step 10 you will have a copy of your unique key!
12. Add firmware.bin and key.bin to a .zip file and BACK UP THE ZIP FILE.

Get memdump_win from

firmware.bin should be 256kb
key.bin should be 1kb

If you’re using the Xecuter kit, nothing should be plugged into your
Xbox360, only the DVD drive from it. No clips/grounding necessary.
Remove the DVD drive from the console and put the console somewhere

You should leave the debug switch down (red LED on power
adaptor). It does no harm to the drive. You do not need to press it
quickly or anything.

phone privacy: “Protecting Consumers’ Phone Records”

Filed under: category euthanized,Gross Politix — Sagacious Himself @ 2:04 am

you remember EPIC, right?  They hate gmail as much as I do.

In July 2005, EPIC
filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission concerning a website that
offered phone records and the identities of P.O. Box owners for a fee ….

EPIC supplemented
that filing in August with a list of 40 websites that offered to sell phone
records to anyone online. In light of the fact that so many companies were
selling communication records online, EPIC also petitioned the Federal
Communications Commission, urging the agency to require enhanced security
precautions for phone companies’ customer records.1
Although telephone carriers unanimously opposed enhanced security requirements

motorola e815 firmware versions nightmare for game developers

It turns out that the BREW API call: IBITMAP_NativeToRGB(IBitmap *pIBitmap, NativeColor clr) does not work properly.

any game that went through the extra effort of trying to stay device
independent (using this call) would become broken with the latest

The native calls that we use are IFONT_DrawText and IBITMAP_FillRect, along with IBITMAP_RGBtoNative.

Hacking the Motorola E815

Filed under: Motorola e815 hacking,News and Announcements — Sagacious Himself @ 6:00 pm

When you entered ##DIALUP on the phone, it did say “dialup enabled” or
something like that, right? I also use BlueSoleil, with a Trendnet
bluetooth dongle. I usually have no trouble, though sometimes if I’ve
been messing with settings on the phone, I have to turn the phone off
and on and then doubleclick on the phone icon in BlueSoleil again to
get the box around the DUN symbol. If you get it working you will see
that it supplies a weird dialup number, *99***1# (which is an industry
default GPRS dialup number). I don’t need a username or password with
that number, but maybe that’s because I have Vcast.

Another thing I remember reading is that sometimes if you don’t have
Vcast on an e815, Verizon mistakenly turn off all your data services.
You can tell if this is so because Get It Now won’t work. You can call
them up and say “my Get It Now isn’t working” and they will probably
activate some sort of data service for you for free.

As to the DUN charges, without Vcast you will be charged minutes at
least, and if they figure out you are tethering they may charge you
$0.002 per kbyte or something egregious like that. Vcast is kind of a
shield in that it makes it very hard for them to tell you’re tethering,
unless you do it excessively, plus you aren’t charged for minutes.

There is a seem edit to make your phone always identify iself as e815m.
It is seem 2827, record 1, length 22, offset 0008, enable bits 0-2-3-6.
This was previously reported somewhere else on howardforums.

coming up… Klinghardt Matrix Therapy

Filed under: category euthanized,Healthy — Sagacious Himself @ 9:53 pm

Klinghardt Matrix Therapy, simultaneously applied high frequency superimposed biological waveforms designed to interfere with the reproductive cycle of parasites and improve immune response.

The interference pattern is creating thousands of harmonics which are then manipulated into the specific published microbial inhibition frequencies ( against Bb, mycoplasma etc.). This stealthy microcurrent travels freely through the body reaching every tissue. The instrument measures the skin conductance over a 100 times/second adjusting the amperage constantly (so that the body never creates habituation/resistance against it). The microbes are inhibited in their metabolic and sexual activity and gradually die out or disappear from the body. The instrument looks not much different than a TENS unit and is applied via 4 electrodes to the skin or used by translating the electric field into a vector force field using signal enhancer technology.

Xtreme Firmware for TS-H943 Xbox 360 download

Filed under: category euthanized,Geeky goodness — Sagacious Himself @ 11:03 am, which already released a working modified Xbox1 DVD firmware (coded instructions that are stored permanently in read-only memory) some weeks ago, released a new firmware for Xbox 360.

The release has already been tested by SniperKilla and Arakon and seems to be working fine, according to Xbox Scene.

The modified DVD firmware has been released exclusively for the Xbox 360 Toshiba-Samsung TS-H943 DVD-ROM drive. Just like Commodore4Eva’s modified Xbox1 FW, it will also require raw/unmodified dumps (of same region as your console) [no it doesn’t] , some patching (security sector on ISO and DVD drive key on firmware) [no it doesn’t] and DVD+DL double layers recordable discs in order to function.

“The package” also includes a second firmware that will enable the extraction of the security sector from an original disc with the TS-H943 drive connected to a PC.

All Xbox 360 executables (XEX containers files) are signed by Microsoft (with a private key only MS has). This means that if the user tries to change anything to the XEX file, the signature will be wrong and the file will not boot.

The Xtreme firmware for TS-H943 Xbox 360 is a backup firmware modification that can boot all game backups.  [yes, and its great]

It features all Xtreme Xbox 360 backups, Xtreme Xbox 1 backups, Xbox 360 originals, and all Xbox 1 originals on Xbox 360, as the Xtreme0800 extraction firmware enables the drive to function natively under Windows without any hardware conversion/adaptors. Usage of Xbox Live is not recommended.

The new firmware can also read Xbox 360 security sector from PSN 04FB1F (Layer 0), Xbox 1 security sector from PSN 605FF (Layer 0), as the security sector must be extracted using Xtreme0800 360 firmware for Xbox360 games and Xbox 1 games. Unfortunately, the firmware is not able to boot Xbox 1 backups made with Xbox1 605b 0800 firmware.

its rediculously easy to find
