California Assembly Passes Electoral College [perversion]

AB 2948

is a simple bill that would have California join in an interstate
compact with other states to [dump weighted representation and devolve into direct democracy]

Net Neutrality dead… now any competition becomes ‘unfair’ in the eyes of the provider

Since I trust verizon, MCI (not part of ATT), and Bell South about as far as I could throw a volcano …. I see the internet becoming broken up islands of intranets connected by mostly slow bridge connections.   Sadly it’ll be like AOL once was: fast on the inside, LIMITED access to the internet proper.

Speed isn’t the only issue.  Each ISP can create their own Great Firewall of China.

Net Neutrality died today on the house floor.  Prepare yourself for a loss of SoHo bandwidth, price inflation on services from internet, digital cable, to mobile phones.  A new kind of terror is coming to an internet near you.
